SPECIALISED IN TRANSSHIPMENT FROM AN TO SHIP, RAILWAY AND TRUCK

The 100 meter long pier at TTD in Port Juliana admits sea-going and inland ships simultaneously. The handling of goods takes place by use of a fully hydraulic crane. This is characterised extremely precise positioning. A.o.t. by the very accurately closing grab, spilling of bulk goods is out of the question. Also piece-goods are transshipped safely at a high capacity. The crane has a handling capacity of over 170 tons an hour. The reach is 23 meters, and the maximum load 6 tons.

 

By the use of silos, trucks are loaded with bulk goods quickly and efficiently. The loading of ships and railway carriages takes place by way of a conveyor belt system. TTD has its own 70 ton weigh-bridge for carrying trade and verifiable scales for the handling of bulk goods, with a capacity of 250 tons per hour.
